Ingredients
1 cup Mott's applesauce
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1 cup green apples, diced
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbs Mott's apple juice
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tbs honey
1/2 tsp lemon zest, finely grated
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Line 9x9 baking pan with parchment paper. Spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.

 

2. In medium bowl mix; flour, baking powder and salt.

 

3. In large bowl whisk; Mott’s applesauce, egg, sugar and vanilla extract.

 

4. Stir dry ingredients into wet and mix until combined. Gently fold in apples. (Do not over mix)

 

5. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center, comes out clean. Cool blondies on wire rack.

 

6. To small bowl, add all glaze ingredients. Whisk until smooth.

 

7. Cut blondies into 9 squares and serve drizzled with glaze.
